This month
From entering your numbers to understanding what they mean.
Hey there,
Last month, we started with five questions. What do you sell? What does it cost to keep the doors open? Do you have staff? What are you trying to achieve? How do you want to see your numbers?
Those questions are still at the center of Clarity. But there's another one that comes after them: what do you actually do with the answers? That's what we've been building.

Most businesses already have plenty of numbers: sales, expenses, bank balances, invoices, payroll. The problem usually isn't finding another number. It's understanding what they're all saying together.
You enter what's happening in your business. Clarity brings the pieces together, shows you the financial picture, and points out what's changing. Not just here's your profit, but here's what moved, and what you may want to look at next.
It's built to work alongside your accountant, bookkeeper, or advisor, not replace them. The goal is a better conversation.
This is Clarity as it exists today. Set up the business, record the activity, see the bigger picture, find what needs your attention, look ahead, and give an advisor a clearer view.
Sales, expenses, cash, receivables, recurring activity, and profitability in one place. Not more places to look, just how the pieces fit.
A report tells you what happened. We're after the next question: what should I actually be paying attention to? That layer keeps growing.
Invoicing lives inside Clarity: create it, send it, track what's owed, and see that activity land alongside the rest of your numbers.
Cash flow scenarios and forecasting help you move from "what happened?" to "what happens if I do this?"
Building Clarity has reinforced something we suspected from the start: small businesses don't necessarily need more financial information. They need the information they already have to make more sense.
A bank balance tells you what's there. A profit number tells you what you made. The harder questions sit in between:
Why did this change?
Can I afford to hire someone?
Why does the business feel busy when the profit doesn't show it?
That space between the number and the decision is where Clarity is being built.
Next up is Stripe. We're working on importing your financial data from Stripe, so the payments you already receive show up in Clarity without re-entering anything.
Beyond that, more work on the same space: better explanations, better visibility into cash, and a clearer view of what's changing. Not everything is finished, and that's part of the process.
We're just getting started.
