Financial clarity for small & service businesses

See where your money is going.
Know what your business is actually making.

Clarity keeps track of your sales, expenses, payroll, pricing and receivables as you go — then connects them, naming what's actually driving a change instead of just restating the numbers, with the math behind every claim shown.

Beyond the dashboard

Clarity doesn't just report the numbers. It connects them.

Most tools can tell you revenue is up and margin is down. Clarity's Year over Year report goes a step further — it names what's actually driving the change, connects it to what's happening with cash tied up in receivables, and shows the work behind every claim.

Year over Year · What's driving the difference Illustrative example

Your payroll costs grew 60%, but your sales only grew 25%. That is the main reason you kept less profit from each dollar this year.

The money customers owe you also grew by $2,630 over the same time. Put together, you are keeping less profit from each sale, and more of your money is sitting unpaid in customer invoices. It is worth checking who still owes you before assuming higher sales means more cash in the bank.

Possible reasons (we can't confirm these from the numbers alone): you made more sales, customers are paying more slowly, your payment terms changed, or you have different kinds of customers now.

Some of what customers owe you is already due to arrive within the next 13 weeks, based on the payment dates you have entered. See Cash Flow for the full picture.

See the numbers behind this →

What customers owed you at the start, what they owe now, the exact change, and which customers make up most of the increase. Every figure traces back to a real sale, expense, or payment you entered. Nothing here is a mystery score.

How it works

From scattered numbers to a decision

Data

Sales, expenses, payroll, receivables and recurring transactions, as they happen.

Clarity

Revenue, cost of revenue, net profit, outstanding receivables and trends, worked out for you.

Action

Understand where money is going and where the business is actually performing.

Connected, and yours

Your business data should belong to you.

Clarity keeps your business's financial picture connected to the people you authorize — an owner, a bookkeeper, a teammate — so everyone works from the same numbers, on their own devices. On the Free plan your data stays local to your own device by default; Pro and Business plans add secure cloud sync so your authorized team stays connected.

No system is perfectly secure and no backup is a guarantee against every failure — but Clarity is architected so access to your business is always something you control: only the people you authorize can see it.

  • Connected access on Pro and Business — authorized team members work from the same financial picture, from their own devices.
  • Local storage by default on Free, plus optional encrypted cloud backup on every plan, client-side encrypted before it ever leaves your device.
  • Each business's data is kept separate — nothing is pooled or shared across businesses.
  • Integrations are opt-in — nothing connects to an outside service until you turn it on.
How your business's numbers travel

Cloud sync is included with Pro and Business, and with some early-access Free accounts. On Free, your numbers stay on the device you enter them on. Either way, a backup does a different job from sync: sync decides who can reach today's numbers, a backup is what you fall back on if something is ever deleted or changed by mistake.
