A short, plain-English agreement, nine points, about two minutes to read. Sign below and I'll send your access link personally.
This is a summary. The full Terms of Use & Disclaimers apply while you use ClarityApp.
Free access to ClarityApp for as long as it's in beta, no cost, no credit card, with your own numbers, not a demo.
Use it with real (or realistic) numbers, and tell us what's confusing, what's useful, and what's missing. Honest reactions are worth far more to us than polite ones.
Anything you share, bug reports, suggestions, offhand comments, becomes something we're free to use to improve ClarityApp, without owing you anything for it. We won't publish your name or your business's numbers alongside it without asking you first.
This is beta software. Things may look unfinished, break, or change without notice. It's provided "as is," with no guarantee it's free of errors, while we actively work to fix what's found, exactly like the bug you might help us catch.
ClarityApp is an educational tool. Nothing it shows you is financial, tax, or legal advice. For decisions that matter, check with a qualified professional.
What you enter into ClarityApp — your sales, expenses, and everything else — stays in your own browser and isn't sent to a server by default, whether or not you sign this. Signing in uses your email, which is stored so you can sign back in; an optional encrypted cloud backup, if you choose to turn it on, is the only way your financial data itself would ever reach us, and even then it's encrypted before it leaves your browser with a passphrase we never see. Otherwise, we only see what you choose to tell us directly, like feedback you send us. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
This one matters: don't share your access link, redistribute the app, or share the app's source code or how it works with anyone outside your own business while it's in beta. If you know someone else who'd be a good fit, send them to marginifinancial.com/beta so we can bring them in properly, that's the right way to grow this, not a passed-along link.
ClarityApp is free during the beta. If that changes down the line, beta testers will get advance notice before anything about pricing is decided, never a surprise.
You can stop testing at any time, no explanation needed. Just let us know, or simply stop using it. Either way, thank you for the time you did give it.
This confirms you've read the nine points above.
Should match the email you used to request access.
